Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer Industrial Projects

Experience: 5–10 Years

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering

Industry: Food / FMCG / Edible Oil / Industrial Projects

We are looking for a Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer to support large-scale global capital projects. The role will be responsible for technical review of Civil & Structural engineering documents, drawings, calculations, specifications, cost estimates and 3D models.

The candidate will work closely with engineering, project, procurement and external engineering partners to ensure designs meet applicable international standards, project requirements, safety expectations and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Review Civil & Structural design documents, specifications, calculations and engineering drawings.

Review Design Basis, Geotechnical Investigation Reports and Vendor Documents.

Review engineering designs in accordance with applicable American and European codes.

Review BOQs, Tenders, Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), Commercial Bid Evaluations (CBE) and Vendor Offers.

Perform and coordinate 3D model reviews.

Support cost estimation, CAPEX optimization and engineering benchmarking.

Coordinate with different engineering disciplines and global project teams.

Develop, maintain and improve engineering design databases and benchmarks.

Contribute to the development and review of global engineering standards.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders, Engineering Service Partners (ESPs), suppliers and project teams.





Ensure projects comply with applicable national and international engineering standards and organizational best practices.

Mandatory Experience

5–10 years of experience in Civil/Structural Design.

Experience with large-scale capital Greenfield and Brownfield projects.

Experience with industrial design and engineering specifications.

Experience working with international engineering codes.

Experience in technical document/design review and coordination with multiple engineering disciplines.

Experience in Food, FMCG or Edible Oil industry is preferred.

Education

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with strong experience in industrial Civil & Structural Design, large-scale capital projects, international codes, structural analysis/design software and CAPEX optimization will be preferred.
