Precon is Hiring: Drafters/ Designers/ 3D Modeling & Shop Drawing Engineer – Architectural Products

Location: Pune / Nagpur

Experience: 3 To 6 Years

Work Mode: Work from Office

We are looking for professionals with strong experience in 3D product modelling, AutoCAD shop drawings, production drawings, and construction detailing who can own drawings from project information through customer approval, production, and installation.

What You’ll Work On

You will develop 3D models and detailed 2D shop drawings for architectural product systems including:

- Barn, swing, pocket & aluminium framed doors
- Shower enclosures, glass systems & shower pans
- Vanities, cabinetry, stone & cast tops
- Glass & metal railings
- Backlit mirrors
- Millwork & case good

Your Responsibilities

- Develop accurate 3D CAD models for product assemblies
- Prepare detailed customer, production & installation shop drawings
- Produce plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and dimensions
- Coordinate hardware, materials, profiles, openings and mounting conditions
- Convert architectural drawings and specifications into fabrication-ready information
- Incorporate client/engineering markups and manage drawing revisions
- Ensure 3D models and 2D drawings remain fully coordinated
- Perform self-QC to eliminate missing dimensions, conflicting information and drafting errors
- Deliver DWG files and drawing packages within committed project timelines
- Coordinate across multiple active U.S.



projects in a fast-paced delivery environment

What We’re Looking For

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Production Engineering, Architecture or related field
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in shop drawings, fabrication drawings, architectural products or manufacturing drafting
- Solid AutoCAD skills
- Experience with 3D CAD software such as Inventor, SolidWorks, Revit, Fusion 360 or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of plans, elevations, sections, details and construction drawings
- Experience in doors, glazing, millwork, cabinetry, railings, metal fabrication, architectural products or interiorswill be highly preferred
- Experience working on U.S. construction projects is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and ability to independently review drawings before submission
