Senior Specialist - Architecture Purpose Fiserv requires a very senior handson datacenter network engineer to support APAC datacenter build migration and relocation activities The resource will be embedded with the Fiserv Network Services team and will work under Fiserv technical direction on a time and material basis The role is intended for an expertlevel engineer who can operate independently in very large and complex network environments take ownership quickly produce highquality implementation artefacts and support production cutovers without needing close supervision 2 Engagement Model Commercial model time and material Fiserv retains technical ownership architecture ownership and change approval authority The supplier provides a named engineer availability commitment replacement process and delivery governance The engineer will work as an extension of the Fiserv team and will be directed through Fiserv project operational and change governance Work will include designreadiness review implementation support migration planning change preparation approved change execution documentation and stabilization support All production activity must be executed through approved Fiserv change processes and agreed implementation windows 3 Seniority and Profile Expertlevel datacenter network engineer with deep handson implementation and troubleshooting capability Expected to operate at the level normally associated with senior enterprise or serviceprovider network experts without requiring the role description to reference specific certifications Able to work independently challenge weak assumptions constructively and turn ambiguous technical requirements into executable plans Proven experience in very large enterprise serviceprovider or hyperscalestyle environments Hyperscaler experience is a strong advantage Strong ownership mindset high urgency and willingness to prove capability quickly through delivery quality Comfortable working in highpressure production environments including outofhours and weekend change windows when required 4 Core Responsibilities Support datacenter network build and migration activities across Cisco Arista and associated routing environments Review HLDLLD material and identify implementation gaps dependency gaps risk points and required clarifications Prepare or validate lowlevel implementation plans migration runbooks method of procedure documents rollback plans and validation plans Configure validate and troubleshoot datacenter switching routing fabric and edge network components as directed by Fiserv Support migration from legacy CiscoNexus paths and current AristaCiscoNFV environments into target datacenter architectures Support secure DMZ firewall ADC NFV cloud and client connectivity integration from a network perspective Drive practical issue resolution during build test cutover and stabilization phases Create and maintain clear technical documentation including asbuilt records topology updates port mappings routeVRFVLAN mapping and handover material Collaborate with Product Engineering security firewall ADC operations application carrier and clientfacing teams Use automation scripting or structured tooling where practical to improve repeatability validation and documentation quality 5 Required Technical Capabilities Very solid handson experience with Cisco Nexus datacenter switching platforms Very strong handson experience with Arista EOS datacenter fabric environments Strong spineleaf fabric aggregationaccess secure DMZ and datacenter interconnect understanding Advanced routing capability across BGP OSPF ISIS route policy redistribution segmentation and traffic engineering Strong practical experience with VRFs VLANs trunks LACP port channels MLAGvPCstyle designs and redundant datacenter connectivity Working knowledge of MPLS VXLANEVPN FabricPath or equivalent datacentertransport technologies where relevant Experience with migration of production traffic paths overlapping services NAT dependencies clientapplication flows and rollback planning Awareness of Palo Alto firewall F5 ADC NFV and cloud connectivity integration requirements sufficient to coordinate effectively with specialist teams Experience with AWSAzure connectivity concepts such as Direct Connect ExpressRoute VPN routing and cloud route control Strong troubleshooting skills across L1L4 routing forwarding asymmetric paths MTU packet loss failover and performance issues Ability to produce highquality implementation documentation and evidence suitable for change governance and operational handover 6 Preferred Capabilities Experience in hyperscale global financial services large serviceprovider or similarly complex network environments Experience with payment environments PCIsensitive segmentation or highly controlled producti
