About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Content Writer & Communications Specialist who can anchor public communication in the written word, turning complex policy and current affairs into narratives that connect with citizens across districts and demographics.

Key Responsibilities

- Write review content, campaign copy, and public communications rooted in West Bengal’s current affairs and governance.
- Translate policy notes, press releases, and scheme briefs into straightforward, people‑facing copy in Bengali & English.
- Develop scripts, taglines, and creative copy for advertisements, social media campaigns, and visual content .

- Manage narrative consistency across platforms to ensure accuracy, sensitivity, and alignment with government communication protocols.
- Ideate and execute social media strategies that amplify reach and engagement across Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and WhatsApp.





- Deliver rapid‑response content during political announcements, events, and launches.
- Collaborate with design and video teams to ensure copy and visuals work seamlessly together.

Requirements

- 4+ years of experience in content writing, communications, or public affairs.

- Fluency in Bengali (mandatory) and English.

- Strong grasp of West Bengal’s political and socio‑economic current affairs .

- Proven ability to simplify technical/policy language for the public without losing accuracy.
- Experience in advertisement copywriting, communications visualisation, and social media content creation .

- Editorial judgment, attention to detail, and creative flair in communication.
