Senior Business Analyst Customer Utility Platform (CUP)

Overview

- We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the Customer Utility Platform (CUP) programme and related Digital Transformation initiatives.
- The role will bridge Business Operations, Product Owners, Digital Delivery and vendors, translating business needs into clear requirements, process designs, user stories and operational outcomes. The successful candidate will work independently, lead workshops, manage traceability and support delivery through UAT and business readiness.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

- Lead requirements and process workshops with Business SMEs, Product Owners and delivery teams.
- Elicit, analyse and document business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Develop As-Is, Go-Live and Target-State process maps and operational workflows.
- Maintain traceability across requirements, processes, user stories, systems and testing.
- Identify dependencies, risks, assumptions, gaps and operational impacts.
- Support backlog refinement, prioritisation, sprint planning and delivery governance.
- Prepare concise, executive-ready documentation, decision papers and process artefacts.
- Support SIT, UAT, training, business readiness and operational acceptance.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience





- 8 plus years of Business Analysis experience in complex transformation programmes.
- Strong business process analysis, process mapping, and requirements-management capability.
- Proven workshop facilitation and senior stakeholder-management experience.
- Solid user-story, acceptance-criteria and functional-requirements experience.
- Agile delivery experience using Azure DevOps, Jira or equivalent platforms.
- Experience supporting testing, UAT, service transition and business readiness.
- Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining business processes in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Utilities, Energy, Water, CRM, Billing, Payments or Customer Operations experience preferred.
- Able to work independently across Business, Digital and multi-vendor delivery teams.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Technology or a related discipline.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA or equivalent Business Analysis certification is desirable.
- BPMN, Visio or equivalent process-modelling experience is desirable.
- Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
