About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support strategic initiatives across the digital payments ecosystem. The role involves working closely with banks, internal product teams, business stakeholders, and ecosystem partners to track project progress, drive partner enablement, monitor business performance, and generate actionable insights. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives across UPI, merchant acceptance, acquiring banks, and emerging payment products while combining project management responsibilities with business analytics and reporting.

Exposure to AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, or Data Analytics-driven business solutions, with the ability to leverage AI tools for business reporting, trend analysis, stakeholder communication, and productivity enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination (60%)

Project Tracking & Execution

- Support end-to-end execution of payment ecosystem initiatives across UPI, RuPay, IMPS, Credit Card on UPI, Credit Line on UPI, and other NPCI products.
- Track project milestones, implementation timelines, certifications, and production readiness across banking partners.
- Maintain project trackers, identify delays, and coordinate with stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
- Follow up on action items and ensure closure through regular governance calls and reviews.

Bank & Ecosystem Engagement

- Work closely with NPCI Business teams, Product teams, commercial banks, acquiring banks, payment aggregators, fintechs, and merchants.
- Support merchant acceptance and acquiring enablement programs by collaborating with product, business, and banking teams.




- Monitor implementation progress of strategic initiatives and identify operational or execution gaps.
- Coordinate with Relationship Managers and partner banks to drive adoption and business growth.

Product Rollout & Adoption

Support ecosystem readiness and scale-up initiatives related to:
- UPI

- Credit Card on UPI

- Credit Line on UPI

- Merchant Acceptance Programs
- UPI Tap & Pay

- UPI Lite

- UPI AutoPay

- Contextual EMI

- RuPay Acceptance

- Merchant Refund Programs

Governance & Industry Coordination

- Organize review meetings, workshops, and industry forums.
- Prepare meeting notes, action trackers, and status updates.
- Support compliance tracking and implementation of business and operational mandates.
- Coordinate with internal Product, Technology, Operations, and Business teams.

Business Intelligence & Business Analytics (40%)

Business Reporting

- Prepare periodic business reports and dashboards for management and business teams.
- Support reporting across various NPCI product categories and banking partners.
- Consolidate business data from multiple sources and generate meaningful insights.

Revenue Tracking & Performance Monitoring

- Track revenue and business performance across partner banks.
- Monitor achievement against business targets and key performance indicators.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Identify opportunities and trends to support business growth.

Dashboard & CRM Management

- Maintain and enhance management dashboards and performance trackers.
- Support CRM reporting and review mechanisms for Relationship Management teams.
- Generate reports on meetings, engagements, and business activities.

Data Analysis





- Analyze adoption trends, transaction metrics, and product performance.
- Support business teams with data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Prepare presentations and summary reports for leadership reviews.

Education

- BE/B.Tech
- MBA/PGDM preferred but not mandatory.

- AI certified candidates preferred
