About Role

BASF is seeking a Senior Analyst - Compensation to support compensation programs across Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean region. The role is responsible for managing compensation processes, ensuring alignment with global reward policies and local market practices, while maintaining internal equity and external competitiveness.

This position is ideal for HR professionals with solid expertise in compensation, salary benchmarking, job evaluations, budgeting, and HR analytics.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze compensation structures and provide recommendations to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market pricing studies.
- Support annual compensation reviews, merit cycles, and salary increase processes.
- Prepare compensation budgets and workforce planning forecasts for multiple employee populations.
- Manage incentive, bonus, and profit-sharing programs.
- Conduct job evaluations and grading exercises across business functions.
- Provide compensation guidance and consultation to HRBPs, managers, and business stakeholders.
- Develop compensation-related reports, KPIs, dashboards, and automation initiatives.
- Recommend salary offers for new hires and internal movements based on compensation philosophy and market data.
- Ensure compliance with global compensation policies and local labor regulations.

Required Qualifications

Education





- Masters/Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.

Experience

- 5-8 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in:
- Compensation & Benefits

- Payroll

- Rewards Management

- HR Shared Services

Languages

- Advanced English (Mandatory)

Technical Skills

- Strong Compensation & Benefits knowledge.
- Experience in salary structures, market benchmarking, and job evaluation methodologies.
- Knowledge of labor regulations related to compensation.
- Expertise in compensation calculations, personnel cost analysis, and budgeting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- SAP R/3 experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
