Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students regarding Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, understanding their academic goals, explaining course details, and assisting them throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding UG and PG courses.
- Explain course details, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, fee structures, and career opportunities.
- Handle student enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, and follow-ups.
- Convert prospective leads into admissions by providing accurate course information and effective counselling.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with students to support admission conversions.
- Assist students with application forms, documentation, and admission formalities.
- Maintain student enquiry records and update the CRM/database regularly.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets.




- Build positive relationships with students and parents to ensure a smooth admission experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate or postgraduate in any discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Mandatory languages: Hindi, English, and at least one South Indian language (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam).
- Strong counselling, convincing, and student-handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office/CRM tools.
- Ability to manage multiple student enquiries and follow up effectively.
- A target-oriented approach with a positive attitude.

Experience

- Freshers with excellent communication skills may apply.
- Experience in academic counselling, education sales, student admissions, or the EdTech industry will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
