The Section Head for Fire &

- Safety within the Health Safety &




- Environment department will lead and manage the strategic and operational aspects of fire safety and environmental health. This senior management role requires a seasoned professional with 15 to 20 years of experience, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance across the organization. The incumbent will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive safety protocols, risk assessment strategies, and sustainability initiatives. They will ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. The role demands a strong global mindset, business acumen, and the ability to drive people excellence and entrepreneurship.

The Section

Head will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize safety processes and integrate best practices. They will also be responsible for maintaining robust documentation and facilitating audits to ensure compliance with international standards.

Responsibility





Oversee the maintenance and implementation of the BS Division Machine Maintenance including Preventive Maintenance PM Breakdown Maintenance BM and Corrective Maintenance CMbr Ensure comprehensive documentation of Environmental Management Systems EMS in accordance with ISO 14001 standards and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems OHSMS in line with OHSAS 18001 requirementsbr Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits of management systems ensuring timely compliance with identified observations and corrective actionsbr Lead the development and execution of risk assessment strategies focusing on fire safety and environmental healthbr Integrate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives into the organizations safety frameworkbr Maintain high standards of security and legislative compliance addressing chemical pollutants and health hazards effectivelybr Foster a global mindset and drive business and commercial acumen within the safety and environmental health domainbr Promote people excellence and entrepreneurship ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of industry best practices
