Sea Import Customer Service

Job Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end Sea Import Customer Service activities for FCL and LCL shipments.
- Coordinate with customers regarding shipment status, arrival details, documentation,

and delivery schedules.
- Provide regular shipment updates to customers from arrival until final delivery.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, customs brokers, transporters, and internal operations teams.
- Track vessel schedules, ETA, arrival notices, and shipment milestones.
- Obtain and verify import documents required for customs clearance and delivery.
- Coordinate with the documentation and customs clearance team for timely clearance of shipments.
- Share arrival notices, delivery orders, and other relevant shipment documents with customers.
- Follow up on pending documents, payments, customs clearance, and delivery requirements.
- Handle customer queries and resolve shipment-related issues promptly.
- Coordinate with the transport team for timely delivery of cleared cargo.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems regularly.




- Prepare and share shipment status reports with customers and management.
- Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up for outstanding documentation or operational requirements.
- Build and maintain good relationships with customers through regular communication and effective coordination.

Candidate Profile

- Experience in Sea Import Customer Service / Freight Forwarding / Logistics.
- Good knowledge of import shipment processes and documentation.
- Experience handling FCL/LCL import shipments will be preferred.
- Knowledge of shipping lines, customs clearance, delivery orders, and transportation processes.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Positive coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to handle multiple shipments and work within deadlines.
- Experience with an international freight forwarder or customs broker will be an advantage.
