Key Responsibilities

- Own the solution architecture for SAP SD across implementation, transformation, and enhancement programs.

- Design scalable Order-to-Cash (O2C) solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA.

- Translate business requirements into robust functional and technical solution designs.

- Balance standard SAP capabilities with custom developments and extensions.

- Design and govern SD-related developments, including:

- Custom pricing logic

- User exits and BADIs

- Pricing routines

- Complex order processing scenarios

- Output determination

- BRF+

- SmartForms / Adobe Forms

- Prepare detailed functional specifications and work closely with ABAP teams on RICEFW objects.

- Provide functional guidance for:

- Reports

- Interfaces

- Conversions

- Enhancements

- Forms

- Workflows

- Collaborate on CDS Views and OData services for SD data exposure.

- Support Fiori applications and custom UI extensions.

- Define and govern the S/4HANA extensibility strategy for SAP SD.

- Drive Clean Core principles and recommend appropriate in-app or side-by-side extensions.

- Evaluate and leverage SAP BTP / CPI where applicable.

- Design integrations between SAP SD and:

- FI

- MM

- TM

- EWM

- CRM

- 3PL systems

- Tax engines

- Other third-party applications

- Define and review integration patterns using IDoc, OData, REST, and CPI.

- Review development designs and assess functional impact of custom code.





- Participate in solution design, peer reviews, SIT, UAT, and defect triage.

- Support performance optimization and resolution of complex production/development issues.

- Drive enhancement requests, change requests, effort estimation, and backlog prioritization.

- Work effectively within Agile/product-oriented delivery environments.

- Provide technical-functional leadership and mentor team members when required.

Mandatory Skills

- 10+ years of SAP SD experience, preferably 10-15 years.

- Strong expertise in SAP SD and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.

- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA SD transformations.

- Proven experience in development-heavy SAP SD projects.

- Solid hands-on experience working with ABAP teams on custom developments and enhancements.

- Strong understanding of:

- User Exits

- BADIs

- Pricing Routines

- Pricing Procedures

- Output Determination

- BRF+

- SmartForms / Adobe Forms

- Strong understanding of RICEFW objects.

- Experience with integration technologies such as:

- IDoc

- OData

- REST APIs

- SAP CPI

- Experience designing and governing custom extensions in S/4HANA.

- Strong understanding of Clean Core and S/4HANA extensibility principles.

- Ability to work as a functional solution architect, not just an SAP SD configurator.

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
