Job Role - SAP BASIS Operations (Support)

Job Summary

Looking for an SAP Basis Operations Support consultant to support an already-built SAP landscape covering S/4HANA, NetWeaver, MDG, PO, EP, SAP Content Server, TREX, and Web Dispatcher environments.

The role includes day-to-day SAP Basis administration, database coordination/support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and HA/DR operations support.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform day-to-day SAP Basis operations support across DEV, QAS, PRD, and DR systems.
- Monitor and support SAP ABAP, Java, Web Dispatcher, Content Server, and TREX environments.
- Handle system health checks, start/stop activities, transports, batch jobs, spool, RFC, user administration, and interface-related issues.
- Support HANA and ASE (Sybase) database operational activities in coordination with DB/infrastructure teams.
- Troubleshoot SAP HANA replication, HSR issues, database connectivity, backup monitoring, and database-related alerts.




- Support HA/DR cluster monitoring and troubleshooting including ASCS/ERS/SCS failover scenarios.
- Coordinate with OS, DB, network, cloud, storage, and application teams for incident resolution.
- Support patching, kernel updates, certificate/license renewal, and routine maintenance activities.
- Maintain operational documents, SOPs, and incident/service records.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP and Java system support.
- Working knowledge of SAP HANA and ASE (Sybase) database support activities.
- Experience in SAP Web Dispatcher , SAP Content Server, and TREX administration/support.
- Basic to good knowledge of HA/DR cluster operations and HANA HSR troubleshooting.
- Experience in Linux-based SAP environments and production support processes.
- Positive troubleshooting, coordination, and communication skills.
