The Role We are seeking a hands-on Salesforce Database Administrator / Assistant Manager to serve as the backbone of our donor data ecosystem. Sitting at the intersection of technology, data, and mission-driven fundraising, you will own and manage our Salesforce CRM, ensuring high data quality, meaningful segmentation, and seamless support for our fundraising team.

Key Responsibilities

- Own, configure, and maintain the Salesforce CRM platform (Nonprofit Success Pack preferred), managing user accounts, profiles, security settings, custom objects, and workflows.
- Ensure donor data integrity by deduplicating records, establishing data entry standards, and managing data imports/exports.
- Map and configure automated donor journeys, including welcome series, retention touchpoints, and recurring giving pathways.
- Integrate third-party tools such as payment gateways, email platforms, Tally, event tools, and WhatsApp into Salesforce.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards to track critical KPIs like donor acquisition, retention, average donations, and lifetime value.
- Act as the internal Salesforce champion, training development staff on CRM best practices and maintaining transparent documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications





- 3–5 years of relevant experience in database management, data analytics, reporting, or information systems.
- Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent hands-on experience, with a strong understanding of CRM database management and data governance.
- Experience with Salesforce automation tools (Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules) and data prep tools (Salesforce Data Loader, Excel/Google Sheets).
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field (relevant certifications are considered as formal qualifications).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical staff.
- Desirable: Proven experience with Salesforce in an NGO/social sector in India, knowledge of email marketing integrations (Mailchimp/HubSpot), payment gateways (Razorpay/CCAvenue), and donor data privacy regulations.
