S3D Designer – Offshore Oil & Gas

Experience: 3–8 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering

Industry: Oil & Gas / Offshore / FPSO

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced S3D Designer with strong expertise in Smart 3D (S3D/SmartPlant 3D) modelling and 2D drawing extraction for offshore Oil & Gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop 3D models for pipe supports, modular supports, secondary steel, equipment supports, HVAC supports, and cable tray supports using S3D.
- Prepare GA, fabrication, and installation drawings from S3D.
- Generate and verify MTO/BOM from the 3D model.
- Coordinate with Piping, Structural, E&I;, and Mechanical disciplines and resolve clashes.
- Ensure models and drawings comply with project standards, offshore requirements, and HSE considerations.
- Support model reviews,



constructability reviews, revisions, and as-built updates.

Required Skills

- Smart 3D / SmartPlant 3D (S3D) – Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of Structure and Hangers & Supports modules
- Experience in offshore Oil & Gas, FPSO, or fixed platform projects
- Knowledge of S3D drawing extraction, annotation, label rules, and view styles
- Familiarity with Navisworks for model reviews
- Ability to read P&IDs;, structural GAs, and piping isometrics
- Good coordination and communication skills
