About the Role

Garuda Aerospace is looking for an experienced Admissions & Institutional Relations professional to lead student admissions and college outreach initiatives for its RPTO (Remote Pilot Training Organisation).

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in end-to-end admissions, student recruitment, institutional outreach, and relationship management within colleges, universities, schools, educational institutions, or training organisations.

The candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with colleges and educational institutions, conducting campus visits and student awareness sessions, generating qualified leads, counselling prospective students, and driving the complete admission cycle from lead generation to enrolment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the end-to-end admissions process for RPTO training programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleges, universities, schools, training institutes, and educational institutions .
- Personally visit colleges and meet Principals, Management, Placement Officers, HODs, Faculty members, and Training & Placement teams .
- Identify and develop new institutional partnerships for student recruitment.
- Conduct college visits, seminars, career-awareness sessions, workshops, and student interaction programs .
- Generate student leads through institutional tie-ups, campus activities, seminars, referrals, and outreach programs.
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding RPTO/drone training programs, eligibility, career opportunities, and course structure.
- Manage the complete admission funnel from lead generation → counselling → application → follow-up → fee collection → admission confirmation → student onboarding .




- Develop and execute admission strategies to achieve monthly and annual enrolment targets.
- Build a strong network of colleges and educational institutions across Chennai and Tamil Nadu.
- Track leads, follow-ups, conversions, and admission performance through regular MIS/reporting.
- Coordinate with the RPTO training and operations teams to ensure a smooth student onboarding process.
- Identify opportunities for institutional collaborations, MoUs, student workshops, and campus programs.
- Lead and mentor the admissions/outreach team, wherever applicable.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, student demand, and emerging opportunities in drone/UAV education and training.
- Represent Garuda Aerospace professionally during college meetings, education fairs, seminars, and institutional events.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in admissions, student recruitment, institutional relations, education business development, or academic administration.
- Strong experience handling the complete end-to-end admission process .
- Proven experience in college/school/university visits and institutional relationship management .
- Experience interacting with senior educational stakeholders such as Principals, Correspondents, Management, Placement Officers, HODs, and faculty members .
- Strong student counselling, negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to generate leads and convert them into admissions.
- Strong understanding of admission targets, conversion funnels, follow-up processes, and student engagement.
- Willingness to undertake regular field travel for college visits and institutional meetings.




- Chennai-based candidates are preferred.
- Candidates from outside Chennai may be considered if they are willing to relocate to Chennai.

Preferred / Added Advantage
- Experience in the drone/UAV/RPTO/aviation training industry will be an added advantage.
- Experience promoting technical, aviation, engineering, vocational, or professional certification programs is preferred.
- Existing relationships with engineering colleges, universities, polytechnic institutions, or training institutes will be highly valuable.
- Experience in establishing institutional partnerships or signing MoUs will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of DGCA drone training/RPTO programs will be an added advantage but is not mandatory .

Chennai-based candidates with strong college networks will be preferred. Experience in the drone/UAV/RPTO or aviation training sector will be an added advantage.
