About Antropi RoboticsAntropi Robotics is a Y Combinator-backed robotics startup (YC F26) building autonomous manufacturing systems for CNC factories. We combine industrial robotics, computer vision, CNC automation, and AI-powered factory software to make manufacturing more autonomous.

We are looking for a hands-on Robotics Software Intern who enjoys building software that interacts with real machines. You will develop control and automation software, integrate sensors and hardware, test robotic systems, debug failures, and iterate on reliable software for factory-floor robotics.

What You’ll Do

- Robotics &

• Automation: Develop software to control and coordinate robotic systems and automated manufacturing processes.
- Hardware Integration: Integrate motors, sensors, cameras, controllers, and industrial equipment with the robotics software stack.
- Control &

- Perception: Build and test control, motion-planning, perception, or automation modules based on project requirements.
- Debugging &
- Testing: Diagnose software and hardware-integration issues on real robotic systems and CNC factory equipment.
- Tools &
- Reliability: Develop testing, logging, monitoring, and simulation tools to improve system reliability and performance.What We’re Looking For

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field, with expected graduation in 2027.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, software debugging, and Git.
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, Linux,



control systems, computer vision, simulation, or robotics hardware.
- Hands-on experience through robotics projects, research, competitions, internships, or open-source contributions.
- Availability for a full-time, six-month, on-site internship from January to June 2027.

Preferred Experience
- Robotics Software: Experience developing software for robots, autonomous systems, industrial automation, or embedded devices.
- ROS & • Linux:

Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, Linux-based development, and robotics software tools.
- Control & • Perception:

Exposure to motion planning, control systems, computer vision, or simulation tools.
- Hardware Projects: Projects involving motors, sensors, cameras, robotic arms, mobile robots, or CNC systems.
- Student Engineering Teams: Experience working in robotics clubs, Formula Student, BAJA SAE, or other student engineering project teams.
- Hands-on Deployment: Experience deploying and debugging software on physical hardware rather than working exclusively in simulation.
- Open Source & • Research:

Contributions to robotics projects, research labs, technical communities, or open-source software.
