Job Summary

We are looking for a well-groomed and customer-focused Captain to supervise restaurant service operations, lead the service team, and ensure an excellent dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, good knowledge of F&B; service, and experience in a restaurant or fine-dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the assigned restaurant section.
- Welcome guests, assist with seating, and ensure prompt and courteous service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and confidently explain menu items.
- Have good knowledge of food, beverages, menu, ingredients, and service standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate order execution.
- Monitor table setup, cleanliness, grooming, and overall service standards.
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure proper sequence of service and maintain fine-dining service standards.
- Guide and supervise Stewards, Stewardesses, and junior service staff.




- Train and coach junior team members on service procedures and guest handling.
- Assist in upselling food, beverages, and special menu items.
- Maintain proper billing procedures and coordinate with the cashier when required.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and company SOPs.
- Support the Restaurant Manager/Floor Supervisor in achieving operational and revenue targets.
- Assist with opening and closing duties and daily stock/service requirements.

Candidate Requirements
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in restaurants, hotels, fine dining, or premium hospitality.
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good English communication is required.
- Strong guest-handling and problem-solving abilities.
- Good grooming and professional personality.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced workplace.
- Team-player with good leadership and coordination skills.
- Candidates with fine-dining/premium restaurant experience will be preferred.
