Role Description The Research Faculty Pharmacy role is a full time, on-site position based at Rayat Bahra University near Chandigarh, India. The role involves designing and conducting pharmaceutical and interdisciplinary research projects, securing research funding, and publishing findings in reputable journals.

Responsibilities include supervising research scholars, guiding thesis work, and contributing to curriculum development aligned with emerging trends in pharmaceutical sciences. The role also requires participation in academic committees, collaboration with industry and research partners,



and involvement in accreditation and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

- Advanced academic preparation in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences (PhD preferred; M.Pharm with strong research record considered) and eligibility as per UGC/PCI norms.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing pharmaceutical research, with a track record of peer-reviewed publications and, ideally, patents.
- Proficiency in experimental techniques, laboratory management, and use of relevant analytical instruments and research software.
- Strong teaching, mentoring, and academic advising skills, with the ability to support diverse learners at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with colleagues, students, and external partners, including industry and research agencies.
- Experience in grant writing, project management, and participation in funded research or consultancy projects is highly beneficial.
- Commitment to ethical research practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous professional development in pharmacy education and practice.
- Ability to contribute to institutional initiatives such as accreditation, curriculum review, outreach, and community health programs.
