Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts for REST APIs using Java
- Working knowledge of Python will add value.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks (from scratch or enhance existing ones)
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for APIs
- Validate API responses, schema, and data integrity
- Collaborate with developers, product owners
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy discussions
- Ensure high test coverage and maintain test documentation
