About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and people-oriented Career Counsellor to guide students, job seekers, and early-career professionals in making informed career decisions.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to understand an individual's background, interests, skills, and career goals before recommending suitable career or job opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct one-on-one career counselling sessions through calls, WhatsApp, or online meetings.
- Understand candidates' education, experience, skills, interests, and career goals.
- Guide candidates regarding suitable career paths, job opportunities, and skill-development options.
- Help candidates identify suitable roles based on their profile and career objectives.
- Provide basic guidance on resume/CV improvement and interview preparation.
- Explain job opportunities, eligibility, career growth, and relevant requirements clearly.
- Follow up with candidates and maintain regular communication throughout the counselling process.
- Maintain accurate candidate information, counselling notes, and follow-up records.
- Build a professional and trustworthy relationship with candidates.
- Stay updated about job-market trends, commonly available career paths, and skill requirements.
- Coordinate with the internal recruitment/placement team wherever required.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate information and follow professional counselling practices.

Requirements
- Education:



Any Graduate / Postgraduate.
- Experience: Freshers can apply; candidates with up to 2 years of experience in counselling, recruitment, HR, sales, education, customer support, or related fields are welcome.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good listening and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand people and identify their requirements.
- Comfortable communicating with candidates over phone, WhatsApp, and video calls.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Positive attitude with a genuine interest in helping people with their careers.

Preferred Skills
- Career counselling or HR/recruitment experience.
- Knowledge of different career options and job roles.
- Experience handling candidates, students, or customers.
- Basic understanding of resumes and interview preparation.
- Hindi and English communication skills.
