Key Responsibilities

- Support day-to-day Configuration Management and Release Management activities under the guidance of senior team members.
- Manage and maintain source code in Git/GitLab repositories, including branches, tags and versioning.
- Assist in build and compilation activities using Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support preparation and packaging of software builds for different environments.
- Verify release prerequisites such as:
- Source-code/tag details

- Build status

- Release documentation

- Test evidence

- Security scan reports

- Installation/deployment documents
- Assist in coordinating releases with Development, QA, Security and other stakeholders.
- Monitor CI/CD pipeline execution and assist in troubleshooting basic build or pipeline failures.
- Support administration and day-to-day activities related to tools such as Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube and JFrog Artifactory/Xray.
- Maintain release records, configuration information and related documentation.
- Follow defined Configuration Management, Release Management, security and compliance processes.
- Support identification and resolution of configuration or release-related issues.
- Prepare basic reports and dashboards related to releases, builds and configuration activities.
- Continuously learn and adopt new DevOps, CI/CD and automation practices.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).




- Basic understanding of Git and version control concepts.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and build pipelines.
- Familiarity with software development and release processes.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes.
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech / MCA / equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates with positive technical fundamentals and a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
