We are seeking an experienced Regional HR professional to lead talent acquisition and employee engagement for the region, with Loan Against Property (LAP) as a core business vertical. The role carries a dual mandate — approximately 40% Recruitment and 60% Employee Engagement — and requires a seasoned HR practitioner with deep exposure to BFSI hiring, particularly in Retail Assets and LAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment for the region, with LAP as the core vertical, ensuring timely closure of open positions across sales and support functions.
- Manage hiring through a multi-channel sourcing strategy:
- In-house recruitment team – supervise, allocate mandates, and track productivity
- Self-sourcing – leverage job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, headhunting, and market mapping
- Vendor / consultant support – empanel, manage, and evaluate recruitment partners for niche and volume hiring
- Partner with business leaders to forecast manpower requirements and build hiring plans aligned to business growth.
- Drive quality of hire — screen and assess candidates for role fitment, particularly for LAP and Retail Assets sales roles.
- Monitor recruitment metrics: TAT, cost per hire, source mix,
offer-to-join ratio, and early attrition.
- Ensure a smooth pre-boarding and onboarding experience for all recent joiners.
Candidate Profile
- Design and execute the regional employee engagement calendar — R&R; programs, town halls, festive celebrations, wellness initiatives, and team-building activities.
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees across branches in the region; conduct regular branch visits and skip-level connects.
- Drive employee connect initiatives to improve morale, motivation, and retention — especially within frontline sales teams.
- Identify early attrition risks through engagement surveys, one-on-one conversations, and exit interview analysis; implement targeted retention interventions.
- Support performance management cycles, confirmations, and grievance redressal in coordination with the corporate HR team.
- Champion internal communication and ensure consistent cascade of organizational policies and initiatives across the region.
- Track and report engagement metrics — attrition, absenteeism, survey scores — with actionable insights for leadership.
