Job Summary

We re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in IM Operations to provide security master and reference data support to traders and other stakeholders across Asian, European, and American regions.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo.

Responsibilities

- Execute complex processes and assist a Team Manager in coordinating processes, risks and/or projects in a Team Lead capacity
- Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and leverage detailed knowledge to propose changes in process
- Train others, allocate tasks and support with first line escalation where required
- Providing security master and reference data support to traders and other stakeholders across Asian, European, and American regions.
- Reviewing exception reports such as those for GSD and Aladdin daily and resolving the exceptions
- Resolving reconciliation exceptions such as researching and fixing coupon and amortization breaks between GSD and Aladdin,



and cash and position breaks caused by security master data settings.
- Partnering with global teams in West Conshohocken and Boston for any security master related cleanups, new data points and related projects.

Requirements

- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team
- Ability to operate independently with respect to some job responsibilities
- Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firms core values
- Experience in the investment management industry.
- Strong knowledge of equity, fixed income and derivative security master and related reference data.
- Knowledge of Aladdin applications, particularly Security Master. Other modules such as Trade Entry, Dashboard, and Reconciliations a plus.
- Experience with data warehouses and data flows a plus.
- Demonstrated success working in a high volume, high intensity setting.
