As we continue to expand our technology capabilities and develop new digital products, we are looking for an experienced React Native Developer to join our growing technology team.

About the Role

As a React Native Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS .

You will work closely with backend developers and other team members to translate product requirements and Figma designs into reliable, responsive, and production-ready mobile applications.

We are looking for someone who understands the complete mobile development lifecycle and can take ownership of features from development through testing and release.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain cross-platform applications using React Native
- Build reusable, scalable and maintainable mobile components
- Integrate REST APIs using Axios / Fetch
- Implement push notifications and in-app notification flows
- Work with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
- Implement navigation, routing and deep linking
- Manage application state using Redux, Context API or similar solutions
- Implement authentication and session management
- Work with AsyncStorage / local storage
- Handle Android and iOS permissions and native device functionality
- Integrate third-party APIs, libraries and SDKs




- Troubleshoot application, UI and functionality issues
- Optimise applications for performance, responsiveness and stability
- Collaborate with backend developers on API integrations
- Translate Figma designs into accurate mobile interfaces
- Write clean, maintainable and well-structured code
- Manage source code using Git & GitHub
- Support application builds, testing and releases
- Contribute to product and technical discussions
- Use modern AI-assisted development tools where appropriate to improve development efficiency

Required Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of hands-on React Native development experience
- Strong knowledge of React Native
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with REST API integration
- Experience with React Navigation
- State management using Redux / Context API
- Experience implementing push notifications
- Firebase / Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
- Authentication and session management
- AsyncStorage / local data handling
- Android and iOS permissions and native features
- Git & GitHub
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of mobile application performance optimisation
- Experience with Expo / EAS or equivalent React Native build processes

Working knowledge of Figma is required .



You should be comfortable reading existing designs, inspecting components, layouts, and specifications, and accurately converting Figma designs into responsive React Native interfaces. You are not expected to be a UI/UX designer , but you should have good attention to UI detail.

- Experience with Android and iOS build/release processes
- Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
- Deep linking and universal/app links
- Third-party SDK integrations
- TypeScript
- Experience working on production mobile applications
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
