Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with strong expertise in data validation, ETL/ELT testing, SQL, Snowflake, and GCP. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity, executing comprehensive test scenarios, and identifying and tracking defects across data engineering solutions.

Required Skills

- Strong expertise in SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and testing
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong experience in ETL / ELT testing for complex data pipelines
- Experience in data validation, source-to-target validation, transformation testing, and data quality checks
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline testing concepts
- Valuable knowledge of test case preparation, execution, defect tracking, and reporting

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive ETL/ELT testing strategies for data pipelines
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data validation,



reconciliation, and analysis
- Perform source-to-target validation, transformation validation, record-count checks, and data completeness checks
- Work extensively with Snowflake and GCP to validate data warehouse objects, datasets, and pipeline outputs
- Validate data quality, integrity, consistency, and accuracy across source and target systems
- Prepare detailed test cases, test scenarios, test data, and test execution reports
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for data pipelines
- Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects through closure
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and technical teams to investigate data issues and validate fixes
- Support continuous improvement of data testing processes and quality standards
