Reporting To-Quality Control Head

Job Summary The Quality Control & Packaging Executive will be responsible for ensuring that finished products meet approved quality standards, designs, specifications, and finishing requirements before dispatch. The role will also oversee proper packaging, labelling, and final inspection to ensure products are delivered safely and in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities / KRA

1. Quality Inspection

- Inspect finished products for workmanship, finishing, measurements, embellishment, embroidery, and overall appearance.
- Ensure products match approved samples, designs, and quality standards.
- Identify defects, damages, stains, loose threads, missing embellishments, and finishing issues.

2. Defect & Rework Management

- Record quality issues and coordinate with Karigars, Karkhandars, and Production teams for corrections.
- Monitor rework and ensure defective pieces are rectified before final approval.
- Minimize rejection and maintain consistent quality standards.

3. Final Quality Check

- Conduct final inspection before packing and dispatch.
- Ensure approved quantities, specifications, sizes, colours, and designs are correctly matched.
- Maintain quality checklists and inspection records.

4. Packaging

- Ensure products are packed according to company and client requirements.
- Check appropriate packaging materials, protection, folding, tagging, labelling, and presentation.
- Ensure products are packed safely to prevent damage during storage and transportation.





5. Dispatch Coordination

- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Merchandising, and Dispatch teams for timely order completion.
- Verify quantities and packing details against order requirements before dispatch.

6. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain QC reports, rejection/rework records, packing checklists, and dispatch documentation.
- Report recurring quality issues to the Quality/Production Head and suggest corrective actions.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of garment, embroidery, accessories, or handcrafted product quality.
- Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.
- Knowledge of packaging and product handling.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to identify defects and ensure timely corrective action.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.

Experience 1–4 years of experience in Quality Control, Production, Packaging, Garments, Fashion Accessories, Handicrafts, or a related industry.
