combining manual testing with automated API testing to ensure functional accuracy, data integrity and release readiness in the client's AWS setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute manual test cases, scenarios and test plans from business and functional

requirements across card-management and reconciliation workflows.
- Build and maintain automated API tests (e.g., REST Assured / Postman Newman) for Golang

microservice APIs, validating request/response payloads, status codes, schemas and data integrity.
- Validate card function and reconciliation logic — authorization, clearing, settlement, matching,

exceptions and dispute/chargeback flows between the bank and networks (Visa, GPN - Alto / AJ).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system and UAT testing; own defect logging, triage

and closure.
- Carry out backend/database validation (MySQL) and verify data across issuer, network and bank

systems.
- Integrate automated suites into CI/CD (bank's preferred stack) for continuous test execution; support

performance testing of APIs where required.
- Own end-to-end SDLC quality: test planning, execution, deployment validation on client AWS, UAT

support and sign-off.

Must-Have Skills

- Proficiency with Manual Testing & Automation API Testing — mandatory.
- Card and card-reconciliation functional knowledge and hands-on experience (authorization,

clearing, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks).
- Hands-on with API automation (REST Assured, Postman / Newman) and REST API validation; SQL

/ database validation.
- Strong grasp of SDLC / STLC, Agile / Scrum, defect management and test reporting (JIRA).

Good-to-Have
- Able to do Performance Test API is a plus (e.g., JMeter / K6 / LoadRunner).
- Exposure to Pismo or other card management systems, ISO 8583, CMS/switch platforms, and

payments/cards domain.
- UI/automation frameworks (Selenium / Playwright), CI/CD tooling, cloud (AWS) exposure.

Interview & Assessment
- The client conducts two rounds of interview, including a live demo (e.g., test stub, automation

framework) — candidates should be able to demonstrate hands-on manual and automation-API testing capability.
