Harvee Technologies is hiring Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineers who work directly with enterprise clients, not behind a ticket queue. You will own quality for client products end to end: design automation frameworks, use intelligent tools to find and fix problems faster, and explain your work clearly to English-speaking stakeholders.

This is a client-embedded role. You will sit alongside client engineering teams, work as a trusted part of their engineering team, and be the person they trust to tell them what is broken, why, and how to fix it.

Key responsibilities

Test automation

- Design, build and maintain automation frameworks for web, API and mobile applications.
- Integrate automated suites into client CI/CD pipelines so every build is tested before release.
- Own test strategy for a client account: what to automate, what to test manually, and what risk remains.
- Investigate failures to root cause, separating product defects from flaky tests and environment issues.

Smart problem solving

- Use intelligent tools (coding assistants, coding agents, automated test generation) daily to write tests, analyse logs and debug faster.
- Build smart workflows that cut manual effort, such as generating test cases from requirements or triaging failures automatically.
- Test intelligent product features: evaluate generated outputs for accuracy, consistency and safety, and design evaluation sets.
- Judge tool-generated output critically; verify what the tools produce before it reaches a client.

Client-embedded work

- Work embedded with enterprise client teams, in their stand-ups, tools and codebases.




- Translate vague client problems into a clear technical plan and deliver it.
- Act as the quality lead on the account: report status, flag risks early and recommend fixes.
- Feed what you learn on client sites back into our internal tools and practices.

Required skills and qualificationsArea

What we need

Experience

2+ years in test automation or software engineering; client-facing or consulting exposure is a plus

Programming

Strong coding in at least one of Python, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript; you write automation as production-quality code

Automation tools

Hands-on with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress for UI; REST Assured, Postman or similar for APIs; Appium for mobile is a plus

CI/CD and cloud

Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI; Docker; working knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP

Tool fluency

Daily, practical use of modern coding and testing assistants; able to write positive prompts and validate generated output

Problem solving

Proven record of solving unclear, high-pressure problems without step-by-step direction

English

Fluent spoken and written English, comfortable leading calls with US, UK or Australian clients

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience





Communication and client-facing expectations

Communication is weighted as heavily as technical skill in this role. You will often be the only person from our team the client sees.

- Lead client calls confidently: run demos, walk through test results and answer questions on the spot.
- Explain technical issues in plain English to non-technical stakeholders, including product owners and managers.
- Write clear status reports, defect reports and test plans that need no follow-up to understand.
- Push back professionally when timelines or quality are at risk, and offer a practical alternative.
- Build trust with senior client engineers by working at their level and owning your commitments.
- Be available for meaningful overlap with client time zones (US, UK or Australia) as the account requires.

Preferred qualifications
- Experience testing products with intelligent or generated-content features, including prompt evaluation and output quality scoring.
- Built internal tools or agents using LLM APIs to automate parts of the QA process.
- Performance and load testing with JMeter, k6 or Gatling.
- Security or accessibility testing exposure.
- Prior work on-site or embedded with Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.
