About the Role Digilytics & Coding is looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, security, and performance of our web, mobile, desktop, SaaS, AI, and automation products.

This role combines manual software testing, automated testing, API testing, integration testing, and QA automation. You will work closely with software engineers, AI engineers, application engineers, and product teams to identify issues early, automate repetitive testing, and improve overall product quality.

What You'll Do

- Test web, mobile, desktop, SaaS, and AI-powered applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and end-to-end testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Automate UI testing using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Perform API testing and automation using Postman, REST clients, or automated test frameworks.
- Test REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, integrations, and third-party services.
- Validate workflows across multiple systems and applications.
- Test mobile applications on iOS and Android.
- Test browser extensions, plugins, and desktop applications where applicable.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, and QA checklists.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
- Reproduce production issues and work with developers on root-cause analysis.
- Build automated regression suites for critical product workflows.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL.
- Test authentication, authorization, role-based access, and multi-tenant functionality.
- Validate application performance, reliability, error handling, and recovery behavior.
- Test integrations involving SMS, voice, email, notifications, APIs, and external platforms.
- Monitor application releases and verify production deployments.
- Maintain clear QA documentation and testing reports.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in software testing, QA engineering, or test automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Experience with manual and automated testing.
- Experience with at least one automation framework such as:
- Playwright
- Selenium
- Cypress
- Appium
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, webhooks, and API testing.
- Experience using tools such as Postman.
- Programming or scripting experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience creating test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
