Position: QMS Manager

Location: Vapi, Gujarat

Industry: Automotive / Cable Manufacturing

Experience: 5–8 years

Salary: ₹50,000–₹60,000 per month

Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Polymer or Production Engineering.

Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in QMS within the Automotive, Cable or Automation industry.
- Hands-on experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 8D and Layered Process Audits.
- Experience in preparing SOPs and Work Instructions and training operators.
- Ability to lead root-cause investigations through to verified corrective actions.
- Comfortable working daily on the shop floor.
- Good communication skills in Hindi/Gujarati and English for interaction with operators, customers and auditors.

Strongly Preferred
- Background in automotive wire,



cable, wiring-harness manufacturing, extrusion, rubber or polymer processing.
- Experience in high-mix / short-run manufacturing.
- ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 Internal or Lead Auditor certification.

Good to Have
- Knowledge of IEC, BS and UL cable standards and type testing.
- Exposure to DNV, ABS, IRS and LR marine classification approvals.
- Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Experience with ERP/MES-based quality record digitisation.
