Role & responsibilities
-Write, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans for recent features and regression cycles
-Perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing across web and/or mobile surfaces
-Log, triage, and track defects to closure using the team's bug-tracking tool (Jira or equivalent)
-Validate fixes and re-test before release sign-off
-Collaborate with developers and PMs during sprint planning to clarify acceptance criteria
-Participate in release readiness reviews and maintain test documentation
-Flag edge cases, usability issues, and inconsistencies proactively, not just scripted failures
