QA Automation Engineer Python / Playwright

Experience: 6–8 Years

Work Location: Bangalore

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Playwright, Pytest, API Testing, Database Testing, and UI Automation. The candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and executing automated test scripts and performing different types of testing across UI, API, backend, and database layers.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Playwright, and Pytest.
- Perform UI, API, backend, and database testing.
- Execute various testing types including:

- Functional Testing

- Regression Testing

- Smoke Testing

- UAT

- BAT

- Soak Testing
- Design and execute automated test scenarios and test suites.
- Perform API validation and integration testing.
- Validate backend data using MS SQL.
- Identify, analyze,



and report defects and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Participate in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and reusable test scripts.
- Perform cross-layer validation between UI, APIs, and database.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 6–8 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
- Solid hands-on experience with Playwright + Python + Pytest.
- Good understanding of API, UI, backend, and database testing.
- Experience with JavaScript is required.
- Strong knowledge of functional and non-functional testing practices.
