Job Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer – Python Backend Developer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in developing scalable web applications and backend services using Python and Django.

The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills, experience in building and integrating REST APIs, and hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or MySQL.

Candidates with working knowledge of React or Angular and exposure to AI/Generative AI technologies will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services using Python, Django, and Flask.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Build clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested Python code.
- Design and optimize database queries, schemas, and integrations using relational databases.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend APIs with React or Angular applications.
- Troubleshoot application issues and improve backend performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding and development standards.




- Write unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
- Work with Git and team-oriented software development workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement of development processes.

Required Skills
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Django / Django REST Framework / Flask.
- Strong understanding of backend development and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MySQL, or any relational database.
- Good understanding of database design, SQL queries, joins, indexing, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with React or Angular.
- Proficiency in Git and collaborative development practices.
- Understanding of SDLC, debugging, testing, and code quality practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in a night shift environment.

Preferred Candidate Candidates located within reasonable commuting distance of Magarpatta City, Pune are preferred. Candidates staying farther away should be willing to relocate.
