Role Description This is a full time, on-site Purchase role based in Chennai. The Purchase professional is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, negotiating terms, and raising purchase orders in alignment with company policies.

Day-to-day tasks include monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with internal departments to understand material requirements, ensuring timely procurement of medical device components, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. The role involves evaluating vendor performance, supporting cost optimization initiatives,



and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards in all purchasing decisions. Collaboration with finance, warehousing, and operations teams is essential to ensure smooth supply chain operations and uninterrupted production.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Purchasing Processes and Purchase Management to handle end-to-end procurement activities effectively.
- Candidates should possess experience in managing Purchase Orders and general Purchasing operations, including vendor communication and order tracking.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate quotations, compare costs, assess supplier performance, and support data-driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with ERP or procurement software, along with good documentation and record-keeping practices.
- Relevant experience in purchasing within manufacturing, medical devices, or healthcare-related industries is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, or a related field is beneficial.
