Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities for the organization.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders (POs), and other procurement documents.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, engineering components, consumables, spares, and other required materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Accounts, and other departments to meet operational requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, material quality, and compliance with purchase specifications.
- Control procurement costs through price negotiations, market research, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain proper purchase records, vendor databases, quotations, and procurement reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Stores team to avoid stockouts and excess inventory.
- Resolve supplier-related issues concerning delayed deliveries, quality discrepancies, and payment coordination.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, approval procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Develop long-term vendor relationships and continuously improve procurement efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills




- Graduate in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or an MBA in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in purchase, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial organization is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control skills.
- Good knowledge of purchase order management, inventory control, and procurement documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience in engineering or manufacturing companies will be given preference.
- Experience in sourcing industrial materials, mechanical components, raw materials, and engineering spares will be an advantage.
- Candidates should be commercially aware, organized, proactive, and focused on cost efficiency and timely procurement.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
