Purchase Manager

Location: Sirsa, Haryana

Experience: 4–5 Years

Industry: Bio-Fertilizer / Agrochemical / Fertilizer

Job Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, consumables and other production requirements.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers/vendors.
- Handle vendor negotiation, price comparison, quotations and commercial terms.
- Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement.
- Monitor material availability, delivery schedules and lead times.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Accounts and Logistics teams for procurement requirements.
- Maintain proper purchase records, vendor data, quotations and documentation.
- Conduct regular vendor evaluation and performance monitoring based on quality, price and delivery.
- Ensure procurement within approved budget and cost targets.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding pending orders, delayed deliveries and material quality issues.
- Maintain proper inventory coordination to avoid stock-out or excess inventory.




- Support cost reduction through effective negotiation and alternate vendor development.

Required Skills
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Purchase & Procurement processes
- Knowledge of raw materials and chemicals used in Bio-Fertilizer/Fertilizer industry
- Good understanding of PO, quotation, comparative statement and vendor evaluation
- Robust follow-up and coordination skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Purchase software
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and procurement activities independently

Qualification B.Tech / B.Sc / B.Com / MBA (Supply Chain/Procurement) or relevant qualification preferred.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates having experience in Bio-Fertilizer, Fertilizer, Agrochemical, Pesticide, Chemical or Agriculture-related manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
