Role Description The Public Relations Intern role at Startup Story® is an internship position based in New Delhi with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the intern supports day-to-day PR activities, including drafting press releases, preparing media briefs, and assisting in the coordination of interviews and features for startups on the platform.

The intern helps maintain media contact lists, tracks coverage,



and contributes to communication materials for campaigns and events. This position also involves research on startup ecosystems, monitoring relevant news, and supporting outreach initiatives to founders, partners, and media outlets.

Qualifications

- Ability to create and support press materials, including press releases and basic media content.
- Foundational knowledge of public relations practices and interest in startup and entrepreneurship ecosystems.
- Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication tailored to diverse audiences.
- Understanding of media relations and strategic communications in a digital-first workplace.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup in New Delhi and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Prior internship or project experience in PR, media, or content creation is an advantage.
