Role Description The Project Technical Support III role is a contract-based, on-site position located at Amity University, Noida. The individual in this role will provide advanced technical support for projects, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, monitoring system performance, and ensuring smooth operation of project-related IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities may include coordinating with faculty and project teams, installing and configuring equipment, maintaining documentation, and supporting data backup and security procedures. The role also involves responding to technical queries, escalating complex issues when needed,



and contributing to process improvements for project delivery. The position requires adherence to institutional policies and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to meet project timelines and technical requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong technical support skills, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.

- Experience with system administration tasks such as installation, configuration, updates, and performance monitoring of IT infrastructure.

- Ability to maintain technical documentation, project records, and user guides for systems and applications used in projects.

- Proficiency in coordinating with project teams, vendors, and internal departments to address technical needs and ensure timely support.

- Solid understanding of data security practices, backup procedures, and compliance with institutional IT policies.

- Relevant academic background, such as a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- Prior experience in technical support or project-based IT roles in academic or research environments is an advantage.
