Technical Project Manager Data Engineering Location: Hyderabad

Shift: US Shift 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong Data Engineering / Data Platform background to lead end-to-end data projects and drive successful delivery across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Data Engineering / Data Platform projects from planning to delivery.
- Manage project scope, timelines, WBS, estimation, resources, risks, and dependencies.
- Work closely with architects, data engineers, SMEs, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, tracking, and delivery.
- Monitor project health, resolve issues, and provide regular stakeholder updates.
- Coordinate testing, releases, deployment, and quality activities.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with expected quality.

Must-Have Skills





- 10 12 years overall IT experience with strong Technical Project Management experience.
- Strong background in Data Engineering / Data Platform / Data Integration projects.
- Excellent Agile/Scrum project delivery experience.
- Strong experience in project estimation, WBS, resource planning, risk & dependency management.
- Good understanding of Databases, Cloud platforms, APIs, ETL/Data pipelines, and backend systems.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, reporting, and team coordination.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA / Azure DevOps / Confluence / MS Project.
- Exposure to Azure / AWS / GCP and CI/CD/DevOps practices.

Valuable to Have

- PMP / CSM / PSM / SAFe certification.
- API development/integration project exposure.
- Experience working with distributed/global teams and US stakeholders.
