Project Manager - Mechanical Utilities & Infrastructure

Qualification: BE Mechanical

Experience: 10 -15 Years

Industry Preference: Solar Glass, Float Glass, Petrochemical, LNG, Steel, Cement, Process Plant, EPC Projects

Role Objective

Lead engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, and operation readiness of all mechanical utilities and infrastructure packages for a Solar Glass Manufacturing Plant.

Key Responsibilities

1. LNG / Natural Gas System

- LNG yard, storage tanks, vaporizers, unloading skids, PRS stations
- NG distribution network design and execution
- Gas pipeline sizing, routing, pressure drop calculations
- Furnace gas train and burner system implementation
- Gas safety, metering, and shutdown systems

1. Furnace Fuel & Combustion Utilities

- End-fired / Cross-fired furnace burner systems
- Combustion air systems and gas skids
- Fuel gas piping and distribution
- Burner Management System (BMS) coordination

1. Compressed Air System

- Air compressor selection (Oil-free / Oil-injected / VFD)
- Air dryers, filters, air receivers
- Instrument air and plant air networks
- Utility load calculation and piping design

1. Water & Cooling Utilities

- Cooling towers, pumps, piping networks
- Circulating cooling water systems
- Chillers and heat exchangers
- Water balancing and utility optimization

1. Water Treatment Systems

- Raw Water, Softener, RO Plant
- ETP and STP systems




- Utility water distribution networks

1. HVAC & Clean Room Systems

- HVAC design review and execution
- Clean room utilities for coating and printing areas
- Ventilation and dust control systems

1. Fire Protection System

- Hydrant network
- Fire pumps and tanks
- Sprinkler systems
- Fire detection and protection systems

1. General Mechanical Infrastructure

- EOT Cranes
- Lifts / Elevators
- Weighbridge
- Mechanical Workshop Setup
