Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Project Manager – Infrastructure & Interiors to oversee and coordinate the end-to-end execution of infrastructure development, civil works, interior fit-outs and facility setup projects across multiple locations.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete physical setup of project sites, including civil modifications, interior works, electrical installations, lighting, furniture, fixtures, networking infrastructure and other site-specific requirements.

The role requires strong experience in site execution, vendor and contractor coordination, project scheduling, material planning, cost monitoring and quality control. The candidate should be capable of independently overseeing multiple projects, resolving on-site challenges and ensuring timely completion as per approved designs, budgets and specifications.

Candidates with experience in commercial interiors, office fit-outs, retail infrastructure, institutional projects, turnkey projects or civil and interior execution are encouraged to apply.

Prior experience in EdTech, Innovation Labs or educational infrastructure is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Site Management

- Oversee the end-to-end execution of infrastructure development, civil works, interior fit-outs and facility setup projects.
- Conduct site surveys and assess infrastructure requirements, existing site conditions and execution feasibility.
- Review approved layouts, drawings, BOQs, material specifications and project requirements before commencing execution.
- Prepare and maintain project execution schedules, timelines, milestones and progress trackers.
- Coordinate civil and interior works, including flooring, painting, false ceilings, partitions, electrical fittings, lighting, furniture, storage, fixtures and branding.
- Oversee site preparation and infrastructure readiness for the installation of IT, networking, AV and other technology-related equipment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor execution progress, workmanship, quality and adherence to approved specifications.
- Identify site constraints, execution delays and technical challenges and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Ensure projects are completed within the approved scope, timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Vendor & Contractor Management

- Identify, coordinate and manage civil contractors, interior vendors, electricians, carpenters, fabricators, furniture suppliers and other service providers.
- Coordinate with multiple vendors and contractors to ensure smooth execution of project activities.
- Monitor vendor performance, workmanship, material quality and adherence to agreed timelines.
- Review vendor quotations, work requirements, measurements and execution-related costs in coordination with Procurement and relevant internal teams.
- Resolve vendor-related issues, execution conflicts, material shortages and scheduling challenges.
- Ensure contractors follow applicable site safety requirements and approved work specifications.
- Maintain effective coordination between vendors,



site teams and internal stakeholders.

Material Planning & Cost Control

- Review BOQs, material requirements, quantities and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with the Procurement team for timely sourcing and delivery of materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment.
- Monitor material availability, consumption and utilization to minimize shortages, wastage and execution delays.
- Track project expenses and monitor costs against approved budgets.
- Identify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective measures.
- Verify completed work, measurements and vendor deliverables before recommending payment approvals.

Stakeholder Coordination & Project Monitoring

- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day project execution and site-related coordination.
- Coordinate with customers, facility teams, vendors, contractors and internal departments throughout project execution.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, timelines, dependencies and pending activities.
- Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Procurement, Technology and Operations teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Coordinate changes in project requirements, layouts or execution scope and obtain necessary approvals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different locations.
- Escalate critical execution issues, budget deviations and project delays to management in a timely manner.

Quality Control & Project Handover

- Ensure civil, interior, electrical and installation works meet approved quality standards and project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to identify defects, incomplete work and execution-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain snag lists and coordinate their timely closure.
- Coordinate final inspections, installation checks and site readiness assessments.
- Maintain project documentation, including site survey reports, BOQs, progress reports, material records, vendor details, completion checklists and handover documents.
- Ensure successful project completion and formal handover to customers and relevant internal teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve execution processes, vendor coordination, cost efficiency and project delivery.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure execution, civil works, interior fit-outs, commercial interiors, turnkey projects or site management.
- Proven experience coordinating multiple vendors, contractors and on-site execution activities.
- Strong practical understanding of civil works, interior finishing, electrical installations, lighting,



furniture and related infrastructure activities.
- Experience in project planning, site supervision, material coordination and execution monitoring.
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans, layouts, BOQs, measurements and technical specifications.
- Experience in vendor coordination, quotation comparison, material planning and project cost monitoring.
- Robust organizational, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and project management or tracking tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate teams across different locations.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India for site surveys, project execution, inspections and handovers.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in commercial interiors, office fit-outs, retail outlets, institutional infrastructure or turnkey facility setup projects.
- Exposure to electrical infrastructure, IT networking, AV installations or technology-enabled facility setups.
- Experience managing projects across multiple cities or locations.
- Familiarity with educational infrastructure, Innovation Labs or Makerspaces will be an added advantage, but is not mandatory.

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on project execution professional who can take ownership of the complete physical setup of a facility, from the initial site survey through final handover.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in civil and interior execution, vendor coordination, contractor management and site supervision. They should be capable of independently managing on-site activities, ensuring material availability, resolving execution challenges and delivering projects within defined timelines and budgets.

Professionals with relevant experience in commercial interiors, civil execution, turnkey infrastructure projects and similar facility development projects are equally suitable.

Willingness to Travel: Up to 50% (Required)

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
