About the Role

We are seeking a high-caliber, results-oriented Civil Project Manager to take overall accountability for the planning, execution, and commercial delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. This role covers comprehensive horizontal development—including internal road networks, bulk earthworks, integrated storm water drainage, underground utilities (water, sewage, electrical, firefighting), and centralized facilities (STP, WTP, pump houses, substations) for large-scale gated communities, industrial parks, and integrated townships.

As Project Manager, you will serve as the single point of site leadership, steering cross-functional site engineering teams, managing client and consultant interfaces, driving contractor productivity, and keeping projects strictly on budget, on schedule, and aligned with quality and safety benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning, Scheduling & Monitoring

- Develop master project execution plans, baseline schedules, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) using MS Project / Primavera P6.
- Track critical path milestones (bulk earthwork, road formation, utility crossings, storm drainage networks) and implement proactive recovery schedules for site bottlenecks.
- Coordinate resources—manpower, heavy machinery (excavators, graders, compactors, pavers), and bulk materials (aggregates, gravel, cement, steel, pipes)—to prevent idle time or execution delays.

2. Technical Execution & Engineering Oversight
- Supervise site engineers, surveyors, and quality personnel in executing works strictly per approved Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, technical specifications, and relevant codes (IRC, MoRTH, IS Codes).
- Resolve on-site engineering challenges, physical utility clashes (wet vs. dry service corridors), and invert level/gradient conflicts with planning and design teams.

- Ensure stringent QA/QC protocols across soil compaction, sub-base layers (GSB/WMM), asphalt/concrete pavements (VDF/PQC), pipeline pressure tests, and structural RCC elements.

3. Commercial, Contracts & Budget Control
- Track project budgets, cash flow requirements, and cost-to-complete forecasts; identify potential cost overruns early and implement value-engineering solutions.
- Scrutinize and certify subcontractor running account (RA) bills, variation claims, Joint Measurement Sheets (JMS), and rate analysis for extra items.
- Drive material reconciliation (cement, steel, bitumen, RMC, pipes, aggregates) to keep site wastage within authorized limits.
- Manage client billing, ensure timely certification of measurement books (MBs), and assist management in smooth payment realizations.

4. Stakeholder, Client & Regulatory Coordination
- Act as the lead site representative in client progress meetings, consultant design reviews, and third-party inspection audits.
- Coordinate with local authorities, utility boards, and statutory bodies for service line clearances, approvals, and inspections where required.
- Lead project handover documentation, including as-built drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, and snag-list rectifications.

5. Site Safety & Team Leadership
- Enforce a zero-tolerance site safety (HSE) culture covering deep excavations, trench shoring, heavy equipment traffic routing, and utility operations.

- Mentor and lead a team of Senior Engineers, Junior Site Engineers, Surveyors, and Store In-charges to foster high accountability and morale.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Postgraduate qualification in Construction Management / NICMAR or PMP certification is an advantage).
- Experience: 12 to 18+ years of total civil construction experience, with at least 5+ years as a Project Manager / Construction Manager leading complete infrastructure packages for:
- Plotted layouts, luxury villa townships, or integrated gated communities (50+ acres).
- Industrial corridors, manufacturing plants, logistics parks, or large warehousing complexes.
- Technical & Managerial Competencies:
- In-depth expertise in road pavement design execution (bituminous, PQC, paver blocks), stormwater hydraulics, bulk earthworks, and gravity drainage networks.
- Comprehensive understanding of FIDIC / Item-rate / EPC contract administration, subcontract management, and claims handling.
- Proficient in MS Project / Primavera P6, AutoCAD, advanced MS Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Candy, or customized construction ERPs).
- Leadership Attributes: High commercial acumen, solid negotiation skills, decisive problem-solving, and proven ability to handle challenging contractor environments and tough site logistics.

What We Offer
- Highly competitive salary and executive package commensurate with project magnitude
- Project milestone completion incentives / performance bonuses
- Comprehensive health and accidental insurance coverage
- Senior-level career progression into General Management / Operational Leadership

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹81,000.00 per month
