Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Head to lead shop-floor operations and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, machine utilization, quality, productivity, and achievement of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Monitor production plan vs. actual output and take corrective actions.
- Manage manpower deployment, shift planning, attendance, and productivity.
- Lead and guide Shift In-Charges and production teams.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and resources.
- Monitor OEE, downtime, output, scrap, rejection, and productivity.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure proper material utilization, WIP control, and reduction of wastage.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, safety requirements, and QMS.
- Drive 5S, Kaizen, continuous improvement, and waste reduction.
- Handle production and quality deviations with corrective actions.
- Ensure proper shift handover and accurate production reports.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Dispatch, Supply Chain, R&D;, Operations, and HR.




- Identify recurring production issues and implement sustainable solutions.

- Ability to manage production pressure and achieve targets.

Education Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Polymer, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant manufacturing discipline.

Experience

5+ years of experience in manufacturing/production, with hands-on experience in shift handling or production leadership.

Preferred Industry

Bioplastic / Polymer / Rubber / Plastic / Manufacturing

Candidate Preference

Local candidates from Islampur, Sangli, Kolhapur, and nearby locations will be preferred.
