Production Executive for Electronics Manufacturing – Roles & Responsibilities

PCB assembly

- Assemble through-hole (THT) and SMD components on PCBs as per BOM, assembly drawing and work instructions.
- Hand-solder THT parts and SMD packages down to 0603, SOIC and SOT-23; carry out touch-up and rework with a hot-air station.
- Identify components by value, marking, package and polarity (diodes, electrolytic capacitors, ICs, LEDs, connectors).
- Prepare and kit components: lead forming, cutting, tinning and checking against the BOM.
- Clean boards of flux using IPA and apply conformal coating where specified.

Sensor and product assembly
- Assemble magnetic speed sensors: coil termination, magnet and pole-piece fitting, housing assembly, and epoxy potting and curing.
- Prepare cables and wire harnesses: stripping, crimping, soldering, heat-shrinking and connector termination.
- Carry out final assembly of tacho hour meters, RPM indicators and displays: PCB mounting, front panel, gaskets and fasteners to specified torque.
- Label, serial-number and pack finished units for dispatch.

Testing and quality
- Inspect solder joints to IPC-A-610 Class 2 for bridging,



dry joints, insufficient wetting and missing or reversed parts.
- Perform basic electrical checks with a multimeter: continuity, coil resistance and supply voltages.
- Load firmware and run functional tests using the test jigs, programming fixtures and apps provided; record results.
- Carry out first-piece and in-process checks; tag and segregate rejects and report repeat defects to the supervisor.

ESD, 5S and documentation
- Follow ESD controls at all times: wrist strap, ESD mat, ESD bins and the daily wrist-strap check.
- Keep the workstation to 5S; maintain soldering tips, iron temperature settings and hand tools.
- Fill job cards, daily output and rejection records accurately, and maintain lot and serial traceability as per ISO 9001.
- Follow safety rules for soldering fumes, epoxy and IPA, and use the PPE provided.
- Support pilot builds of recent products and suggest improvements to fixtures and methods.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹8,953.18 - ₹35,715.25 per month
