Kisan Circle is an India-based agricultural trading and sourcing business focused on connecting reliable Indian suppliers with B2B buyers across domestic and international markets.

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team and manage the sourcing and procurement of agricultural products from reliable farmers, producers, processors, aggregators and suppliers.

Role: Procurement Specialist

Location: Nashik, Maharashtra

Workplace: On-site

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop reliable suppliers of agricultural products.
- Source fresh fruits, vegetables, agricultural commodities and processed agricultural products.
- Communicate with farmers, traders, processors, wholesalers and manufacturers to understand product availability.
- Collect and compare supplier quotations, product specifications, quality parameters and commercial terms.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, quantities and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Verify product quality, quantity, packaging and specifications before procurement.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability and dispatch of products.
- Maintain an updated database of suppliers, products, prices and market availability.
- Track seasonal availability and changes in agricultural commodity prices.
- Conduct supplier research and build long-term supplier relationships.
- Support the export team with product sourcing, quotations and buyer requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics and other internal teams for procurement and delivery.
- Visit markets, farms, processing units, warehouses and supplier locations when required.




- Identify new procurement opportunities and alternative suppliers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in procurement, agricultural trading, sourcing, supply chain or a related field will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of agricultural products and local markets.
- Ability to identify reliable suppliers and compare commercial offers.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple supplier interactions.
- Willingness to travel locally for supplier visits and market research.
- Strong relationship-building and follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of Hindi and Marathi will be an advantage.
