Role Description This full time remote Procurement Consultant role is responsible for optimizing Taxcart’s procurement activities and supplier relationships.

The Procurement

Consultant analyzes spending patterns, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and supports strategic sourcing initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include managing supplier selection and performance, developing and maintaining category strategies, and negotiating contracts in collaboration with internal stakeholders. The role also involves providing procurement consulting support to internal teams, creating data-driven insights,



and ensuring alignment with company policies and financial goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Procurement and Supplier Management skills to handle sourcing, negotiations, and vendor performance.
- Candidates should possess Category Management and Consulting skills to shape procurement strategies and advise stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate spend data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Experience in technology, SaaS, or financial services environments is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with procurement tools, contract management systems, and basic financial principles is an advantage.
