Position: Principal Engineer – Process Engineering

Qualification:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized institute/university.

Experience:

- 9+ years of relevant experience in Process Engineering.

Industry Preference:

- Oil & Gas

- Refineries

- Petrochemical / Hydrocarbon industries

- Engineering Consulting / EPC firms – Design Department

Technical Skills & Responsibilities

- Advanced knowledge of processes related to

Oil & Gas, Petroleum Refining, Petrochemicals, Water Treatment, and Environmental Safety

.

- Experience in preparing

Conceptual and Feasibility Studies

, including techno-commercial evaluation of projects.

- Ability to prepare

Scope of Work (SOW)

on behalf of clients for developing FEED or detailed engineering design packages.

- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 2–3+ engineers for medium- to large-scale projects.

- Thorough understanding of international Process Engineering standards and codes, including

API, ISO, NORSOK, and NACE

.

- Knowledge of major client/company standards such as

Shell, TotalEnergies, BP, ExxonMobil

, etc. will be an added advantage.

- Review, analyze, check, and approve





Process Engineering deliverables prepared by junior engineers.

- Robust understanding of global HSE practices, safety standards, and process safety requirements

.

- In-depth knowledge of the design of Relief and Flare Systems

.

- Experience in conducting and participating in

HAZOPs, HAZIDs, and other process safety studies

.

- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment

.

Software / System Skills

- Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus

- HTFS

- FLARENET

- Working knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards, including:

- API

- ASME

- BS

- ANSI

- TEMA

Special Skills

- Excellent

English communication skills

, both written and verbal.

- Strong presentation and client-interaction skills

- Proven experience in leading and managing Process Engineering teams

, including engineers, designers, and draftsmen.

- Strong coordination skills with multi-disciplinary engineering teams

- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deliverables, and ensure timely and quality execution.
