About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to support enterprise-scale Business Intelligence transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on MicroStrategy to Power BI migration programs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, DAX, SQL, and BI architecture, along with experience translating business reporting requirements into scalable analytics solutions. The role requires hands-on experience in report migration, dashboard development, data modeling, stakeholder management, and performance optimization.

You will work closely with business users, architects, developers, and leadership teams to deliver modern reporting and analytics capabilities while ensuring governance, performance, and usability standards are met.

What You'll Do:

- Analyze existing MicroStrategy reports and dashboards and define migration strategies to Power BI.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports,



scorecards, and datasets.
- Lead report migration activities while ensuring functional and visual parity with existing BI solutions.
- Design and support end-to-end BI and analytics architecture using Power BI and SQL Server.
- Develop and optimize semantic models, data models, and reporting frameworks.
- Create advanced DAX measures, KPIs, calculated columns, and business calculations.
- Develop data transformation processes using Power Query and related technologies.
- Establish reporting standards, governance frameworks, security models, and BI best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Conduct workshops, technical discussions, and solution walkthroughs with business and technical teams.
- Act as a liaison between offshore and onshore teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Design and optimize SQL Server databases for reporting and analytical workloads.
- Develop and tune complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
- Monitor report performance and implement optimization strategies to improve scalability and user experience.
- Manage deployment, release management, workspace administration, and production support activities.
- Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance standards are maintained across reporting platforms.
- Support change management activities and manage stakeholder expectations throughout migration projects.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 5–9 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Reporting solution development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Extensive experience in Power BI Data Modeling, DAX, Power Query, and Report Development.
- Experience delivering MicroStrategy to Power BI migration projects.
- Strong SQL development and database optimization skills.
- Experience designing semantic models, enterprise reporting frameworks, and BI architectures.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts including Fact Tables, Dimension Tables, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema.




- Experience developing executive dashboards, operational reports, and self-service analytics solutions.
- Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and datasets.
- Experience implementing row-level security, workspace management, and governance standards.
- Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of reporting lifecycle management and BI best practices.
- Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and cross-functional project teams.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics and data platforms.
- Exposure to AI-powered productivity tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
