You'll work closely with the content and production team to research topics, analyse podcast performance, identify trends, research guests and develop insights that can make every episode stronger.

What You'll Do

1. Research & Topic Development

- Deeply research potential podcast topics and identify interesting angles.

- Find relevant studies, reports, expert opinions, statistics, news and credible sources.

- Understand a topic from multiple perspectives instead of relying on a single source.

- Identify myths, misconceptions, interesting facts and unanswered questions.

- Convert research into explicit and useful insights for the host and writing team.

- Develop research briefs for upcoming episodes.

2. Health & Wellness Research

- Research health-related topics with accuracy and responsibility.

- Learn how to navigate credible health and scientific sources.

- Understand the basics of reading studies and evaluating claims.

- Cross-check important claims before they are used in an episode.

- Study their previous interviews, articles, books, research and public conversations.

- Identify interesting stories, opinions and areas that can lead to deeper conversations.

- Prepare detailed guest research documents.

- Develop questions and follow-up questions based on your research.

4. Podcast Analytics

- Analyse episode performance across views, CTR, watch time, retention and engagement.

- Identify which topics, guests and formats perform better.

- Study audience drop-offs and understand where attention is being lost.

- Analyse titles, thumbnails, hooks and episode structures.

- Identify patterns across multiple episodes.

- Turn analytics into clear recommendations for future episodes.

5. Content & Podcast Strategy

- Identify topics that have strong audience potential.

- Track what audiences are searching for and talking about.

- Track emerging conversations around health, wellness, psychology, lifestyle and culture.

- Analyse YouTube, social media, search trends and audience discussions.

- Understand what questions people are asking.

- Identify the gap between what people believe and what research or experts suggest.

- Convert these observations into potential podcast topics.

7. Fact-Checking & Quality Control

- Verify important statistics, claims and information before publication.

- Check whether a source actually supports the claim being made.

- Flag weak, exaggerated or misleading claims.

- Maintain organised sources and references for each episode.

- Help ensure that the podcast remains informative without becoming unnecessarily complicated.

What We're Looking For

- Excellent research skills.

- Strong curiosity and ability to go down a research rabbit hole.

- Good understanding of YouTube and podcast content.

- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

- Ability to find patterns and insights from information.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Interest in health, psychology, science, human behaviour, culture and lifestyle.

- Familiarity with Google Trends, YouTube Search and audience research.

- Basic understanding of research papers and scientific studies.

- Experience researching guests or preparing interview briefs.

The Ideal Person

You're the kind of person who sees a topic and immediately starts asking:

Why does this happen?

Is this actually true?

What does the research say?

What are people getting wrong about this?

What is the interesting story here?

You don't just collect information.
