Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer – Civil with 50% experience in industrial construction/EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, progress tracking, resource planning, cost control, and coordination with construction, engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and project management teams to ensure timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, baseline programs, and execution plans for civil and structural works.
- Prepare WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and develop activity-wise project schedules.
- Plan and monitor civil construction activities including earthwork, excavation, PCC, RCC, foundations, structural works, flooring, roads, drainage, buildings, and other industrial infrastructure works.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and compare actual progress against planned targets.
- Monitor project milestones, critical activities, delays, and schedule deviations.
- Conduct critical path analysis and identify activities affecting project completion.
- Coordinate with Site Execution team n other departments
- for smooth project execution.
- Prepare resource loading and manpower/equipment deployment plans based on project requirements.
- Track material requirements and coordinate with procurement/stores to ensure timely availability of construction materials.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules such as 2-week, 3-week, and monthly plans.




- Monitor subcontractor progress and evaluate their performance against agreed schedules and targets.
- Prepare S-curves, progress curves, productivity reports, and performance dashboards.
- Maintain planned vs. actual quantities and monitor productivity of manpower and equipment.
- Maintain proper documentation of project schedules, revisions, progress records, and planning reports.
- Ensure that project planning activities are aligned with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and project milestones.

Software & Technical Skills:-

- Solid working knowledge of Primavera P6 or MSP n MS XL is preferred.
- Experience in preparing S-curves, manpower histograms, resource loading, progress measurement, and dashboards.
- Understanding of BOQ, quantity estimation, productivity analysis, and cost control.
- Knowledge of civil construction sequencing and industrial project execution.
- Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings, BOQs, specifications, and construction schedules.
- Knowledge of project planning methodologies, baseline schedules, WBS, critical path, and schedule management.

Pay: ₹54,000.00 - ₹83,000.00 per month
